2015 Green Bay Packers Schedule – A quick start To The Season

Green Bay Packers Ready for a fast start

The Green Bay Packers have a good early season schedule that can have them off to an easy beginning in 2015 as they play four of their first six games at home. A quick start would be very useful for this team as they’ve started 1-2 in each of the past three seasons. The Green Bay Packers are likely to be playing in prime time a total of five times in 2015 with three games on NBC, 2 on ESPN and 1 game on the NFL Network.

The Packers went 8-0 at home last season so playing four of their first six at Lambeau should help although two of these games are at night against Seattle and Kansas City. What hurts the Packers could be the late season schedule that has them playing just two of their last five games at home. The Packers will play their first Thanksgiving home game since 1923 as they host the Chicago Bears on Thursday, November 26th on NBC. That would be the night they retire the jersey of Brett Favre. That game is likely to be in the midst of a three-game in 12 day stretch for the Packers as they will be coming off a Sunday game at Minnesota four days earlier and then the following Thursday they will be in Detroit.

It would be the first time since 2007 that the Packers are likely to be playing two straight Thursday games. And this stretch of games is element of a four-game run where they’re playing four straight division games. That’s something the team has not done since 2000.
