Houston Rockets Not Done Yet

The Rockets looked all but finished after going down 3-1, and the Clippers had appeared the team to beat in the Western Conference.  After a huge Game 6 win in Los Angeles, the series shifts back to Houston for Game 7.  After trailing by 13 entering the fourth quarter, the Rockets exploded for 40 points.

The Clippers meanwhile managed to score 15.  The defense or lack there of, is a huge question mark along with their bench.  Now the Clippers have all the pressure in the world on them.  They were up 3-1 and now to potentially lose the series, to Chris Paul it feels like “here we go again.”  In the first round the Clippers won Game 7 at home, this time they will have to take action on the road.

Wilson Cole of sportsdiary365.com writes “Nice team effort to grab this win.  Clippers just got outplayed in the 3rd, really outplayed.  There was still 15 minutes roughly to play when the Rockets made their rally…nice win.”

“Until the ultimate whistle blows, you shouldn’t be cocky in any team sports.  Anything could happen…You’ve got to respect your opponent and respect the game, otherwise you can get kicked in the butt like the Clippers on Thursday night.”
