What is the good side of the Cleveland Browns can feel like wondering about the upside of the nation if Donald Trump wins the presidency. It seems in the last several years, the Browns are better at finding people with talent but bereft of moral values as highlighted by the days they drafted Josh Gordon and Johnny Manziel than getting it together on the field.
With those two players from the picture for the whole 2016 season, the Browns are hoping that Robert Griffin III can rediscover like the old days with Redskins and lead the Browns to a comparatively more successful campaign. Griffin was launched by Washington after sitting out the entire 2015 campaign.
Injuries are usually a problem for Griffin at as it’s coming to an end of his career but a stout offensive line led by future Hall-of-Famer Joe Thomas and Joel Bitonio and a new coach, the outstanding former Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson, can help Griffin draw out his best game.
There clearly was an occasion when RGIII looked like a franchise savior. He could possibly be that in Cleveland if he could just stay healthy and learn to adapt Hue Jackson’s offense. Of course, he has to win the starting job, but the Browns look as though they’re gambling on Griffin’s knees and are going with the former Heisman Trophy winner – for now. Jackson will play a huge role in Griffin’s performance in Cleveland. Jackson did wonders to Andy Dalton so much can also be expected of the coach about how exactly Griffin will fare from Week 1 to 17.
NFL Prediction The Cleveland Browns go 4-12 on the season maybe get to 5 wins. The Browns are +1,800 to win the AFC North.
