Rodgers Practicing Ready for The Cowboys

The Green Bay Packers got an excellent sign on Thursday when superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers practiced for initially since re-injuring his calf muscle. Even though he didn’t take 100 percent of the snaps, there’s no question him suiting up and participating with his teammates is obviously an indication of good items to come.

“Aaron practiced in the team periods. He looked good,” Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said, based on the team’s website. “He transpired and did everything we asked him to complete today. It’s always an improved practice when he’s out there.”

McCarthy is right about that.

The Packers always appear to play better when Rodgers is under center. A big basis for that is because he is arguably the best player in football. Plus, the team seems to be well informed when he is leading them on the battlefield.

When Rodgers transpired in Week 17 from the Detroit Lions, Green Bay saw their 14-0 lead vanish. Lots of that had related to deficiencies in confidence from one other players. The appearance on their faces basically stated they didn’t believe they might keep up without their captain. Then, like right on cue, Rodgers re-enters the contest in the next quarter and leads the Packers to victory.

It is that reasons why it is so essential for Rodgers to stay as healthy as possible leading up to Sunday’s divisional showdown from the Dallas Cowboys. Despite a tiny tear in his calf muscle, the signal caller is confident he will be able to have the work done. Still, his teammates must step up and pick up any slack that may be evident due to a possible lack of mobility.

Rodgers took approximately 50-60 percent of the snaps used on Thursday. Even though which could not seem like a lot to the typical fan, it is strictly what McCarthy had planned for the practice. Which means Rodgers is right on schedule for being ready for Sunday.
