Russell Westbrook is playing on a different level right now. You understand, since he just got done recording his fourth straight triple-double. Consequently, the MVP race is starting becoming a one-man show.
Westbrook’s stats tonight, once again, were from this world. He recorded a career-high 49 points. Also in the game he had 16 rebounds and 10 assists. After this, if Westbrook continues to play as of this level, LeBron James and Kevin Durant are going to hand the award to him.
Eventually, these triple-doubles will come to an end, but meanwhile, fans can enjoy something truly special.
Westbrook can’t be stopped right now, not even a knee to the facial skin … or even a mask.
Players like LeBron, Steph Curry and James Harden have already been phenomenal this year. However, Westbrook is outshining all those stars right now. All things considered, it is kind of tough to beat four straight triple-doubles. Heck, just getting one of these is hard to do.
People have to know the way awesome this streak of triple-doubles is, and how Westbrook is starting to tell apart himself as the most effective player in the league — well, at the very least in this stretch, and perhaps this season as well.
