Miami Heat certainly require a few more pieces to turn into a good team and with the trade period on, we are searching for Pat Riley to make a few moves. One of the best big men in the league, Brook Lopez, was supposedly interested in joining the Heat and the Heat was going to make a work for him. Lopez averages 14.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while averaging only 26 minutes.
Based on the reports, the Heat have offered Chris Andersen, Norris Cole, and Josh McRoberts for Brook Lopez. We are waiting to see if the reports are true and if the Nets would accept the offer.
Another name that appeared on the trade wishlist was the Denver Nuggets shooting guard Arron Afflalo. Afflalo is averaging over 15 points per game and he’s a shooting capable of creating shots from about anywhere on the floor. He’s also effective at playing at the tiny forward position as achieved it while playing for the Orlando Magic. Bringing Afflalo doesn’t necessarily signify he would have been a backup shooting guard behind Dwyane Wade. As Wade said, he will appear to play at the point guard position more regularly from now on, so bringing Afflalo to the South Beach could drastically change Miami Heat lineups and rotations.
Miami Heat are interested in the shooting guard and supposedly they’re ready to trade for him if the cost is acceptable. Another player the Heat could bring is the point guard Nate Robinson, but there are still not many details on that potential trade.
