The New York Jets are going to be a slight favorite Thursday, November 12th as the Buffalo Bills come into town and this game will be on the NFL Network. This game will mark the return of Buffalo coach Rex Ryan to face his former team. The Buffalo Bills on the season are 4-4 while the New York Jets are 5-3. This going to be the 1st of two meetings these two team will play this season, as they will play in Buffalo the last game of the regular season.
The Bills broke finally got in the winner circle last week after a 2 game slide when they beat the Miami Dolphins by a score of 33-17. Wide receiver Sammy Watkins quieted his critics with a career-best game as he had eight catches for 168 yards and a TD. Tyrod Taylor was 11 of 12 for 181 yards in his first game back after missing two games with a sprained left knee. The Bills did lose running back LeSean McCoy to a shoulder injury but Karlos Williams filled in admirably as he had 110 yards rushing. The Bills have played great all season long when they take to the road as they have gone 2-1 against the NFL lines makers in their 3 road games.
The New York Jets got the win last week but it was real ugly as they beat low Jacksonville and just held on for a 28-23 victory. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw two touchdown passes even though he was playing with a torn ligament in his left thumb while Chris Ivory scored two touchdowns. The Jets suffered some injuries in the game as kicker Nick Folk suffered an injured right quadriceps, center Nick Mangold left with a neck injury and cornerback Antonio Cromartie suffered a thigh injury. The Jets are 2-2 against the spread at home this season. Thursday Night Football Predictions I’m going with the underdog and taken the points with the Bills on Thursday and also play the game under the total.
