We are getting closer to UFC action wraps on Saturday night in Las Vegas with UFC 194 featuring Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor. Aldo is the present featherweight champion as he comes into this bout at 25-1 and on an 18-fight winning streak while McGregor could be the interim featherweight champion and he comes into this bout at 18-2 having won his last 14 fights. You can find five fights on the key pay-per-view card as in addition to Aldo vs. McGregor it will be Chris Weidman vs. Luke Rockhold, Ronaldo Souza vs. Yoel Romero, Demian Maia vs. Gunnar Nelson and Jeremy Stephens vs. Max Holloway. There are also 7 fights on the undercard which may be seen on Fox Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass. Let’s look at UFC 194 with a focus on the key card, UFC 194 odds and UFC 194 Predictions.
Conor McGregor -125 vs. Jose Aldo (Rounds 2.5 over -120) – It’s shocking if you ask me to see Aldo listed whilst the underdog in this bout. McGregor has been good but he hasn’t fought near your competition that Aldo has faced. McGregor has generated his reputation more on talk than talent and he is talking again entering this fight. “I will knock out Jose and I will face the winner of the lightweight belt, which takes place a week after,” McGregor said. “So, next two fights I is a two-weight world champion.” Aldo has said pretty much what I said in he believes McGregor has gotten up to now by talking. “I think he got to where he is just by talking,” Aldo said, “I think he’s behind Chad (Mendes) and Frankie (Edgar). He got here by marketing himself. I’ve always believed he’ll be at the end of the line behind me, behind Frankie, and behind Chad.”
Chris Weidman -130 vs. Luke Rockhold -This one should be a battle since they are the two best middleweights in UFC. I am also surprised at the line with this bout as I see Weidman winning. He is able to get it done all and while Rockhold is good, Weidman is battle tested.
